FamilyWize Prescription Discount Card
Thank you for helping us reach over $1,600,000 in prescription drug savings in Gaston County since launching the partnership in 2007! That $1.6 Million in savings has enabled families to invest more in their future, basic needs, and quality of life rather than on prescription drug costs. It has also helped make prescription drugs affordable to some who couldn’t have afforded medicines otherwise. Thank you! Keep Saving!
How the FamilyWize Prescription Discount Card Works
It’s easy to use a FamilyWize Card. There are no forms to fill out, waiting period, or registration. The card is really just like a reusable prescription coupon on all FDA-approved medicines. Anyone in your family, your work, your church, or your neighborhood can use it. Immediately. You can even use it if you have health insurance, both during deductible periods and for anything your insurance does not pay for.
How it works:
- Get the Card: Pick up a card at the United Way of Gaston County Office, or you can print a card from the FamilyWize website HERE
- Take it to your Pharmacy.
- Save on Prescriptions!
FamilyWize Prescription Discount Cards for Employees
In light of changes to healthcare laws, many employers are finding it more difficult than ever to provide comprehensive benefits to employees. The FamilyWize Prescription Discount Card is free of charge to employers and employees and can help provide additional help to employees needing help with prescription drug costs.
The costs for the discount are paid by prescription drug companies as a type of direct marketing and are accepted at most pharmacies. If you’d like information on offering cards to your employees or new hires, contact Daughtry Hopper at 704-864-4554 ext. 104.
