The United Way of Gaston County has invested more than one million dollars in funding to organizations across the community that make an impact in Education, Financial Stability and Health. The investment, made possible by generous donors and businesses across Gaston County, will ensure more than 24 programs are available to help those in need. “We are appreciative to our partners and donors for the continued support,” said UWGC President Linda Slade, “because of their generosity we are able to create lasting impact here in Gaston County.”
The 2019 allocations team allocated more than $1,015,629 to impact Gaston County citizens through programs and initiatives in Education, Financial Stability and Health. The investment included $488,330 for Education, $326,806 for Financial Stability and $200,493 for Health.
